While the role of fire in our lives has evolved, the fundamental need to come together in the real world remains constant. In a time overrun with social media feeds and instant entertainment, carving out these moments for togetherness feels more vital than ever.

Moment Factory is a multidisciplinary
entertainment studio specializing
in the creation, design and production of immersive environments. Our Custom Experiences and Moment Factory Originals weave video, sound, lighting, architecture, interactivity, and special effects into experiences that invite audiences to wander, touch, feel and be inspired.

How we do it

Blending the physical & digital

Blurring the lines between the real, the imagined, and the digital allows us to unlock new ways to tell stories, engage the senses, and elicit strong, lasting emotions. Successful immersive experiences achieve this through the precise, often imperceptible orchestration of elements, both tangible and not — music, motion, video, lighting, architecture, and special effects all merged into one seamless, unified whole. When done right, audiences are fully immersed, living the experience rather than merely observing it, and connecting with each other and the world around them in new and unexpected ways.

Our Origins

Dominic and Sakchin met in the vibrant pulse of Montreal’s rave culture. United by their shared passion for VJing and the limitless potential of multimedia, they founded Moment Factory in 2001.

As Chief Innovation Officer, Dominic drives the innovation of emerging technologies capable of revolutionizing the landscape of immersive experiences. As Executive Creative Director, Sakchin leads the studio on its quest to bring people together through new forms of entertainment, nurturing a collaborative culture where creative minds and multidisciplinary artists thrive.
Though Moment Factory has grown far beyond its origins, its founders remain deeply committed to the values that shaped their journey: dedicated teamwork, bold initiative, and the desire to be both inspired and inspiring. Thanks to the studio’s leadership team and vibrant community of creative and tech-savvy talent, they carry this vision forward, creating shared experiences that resonate with audiences of all ages.

Our studios

Headquartered in Montreal, Canada, our studio also has outposts in Tokyo, Paris, New York City and Singapore.

Our studios are where it all comes together — where we dream and collaborate. With large-scale prototyping facilities at our disposal, we are continuously testing and tweaking technological mock-ups, user flow analyses, and creative concepts, all while advancing strategic R&D projects. Outfitted with the latest in projection mapping, body tracking, audio, lighting, special effects, and pre-visualization technologies, these spaces are regularly updated to embrace new innovations. This iterative approach is key to pushing the limits, while diminishing risks.

Since its inception in 2001, Moment Factory has created more than 550 unique projects worldwide, including the Lumina Night Walks, the AURA series, and more recently, The Messi Experience and several projects at Sphere in Las Vegas. Productions include such clients as Universal Studios, FIFA, Madonna, Disney, Billie Eilish, Meow Wolf, Moët et Chandon, the Boston Museum of Science, Microsoft, Sony, and Changi Airport Group.
