Phish: The 2026 Sphere Residency
Innovative, visionary direction elevates Phish’s Sphere concerts, setting new industry benchmarks.
Moment Factory continues its longstanding collaboration with Phish, leading Creative and Show Direction for a Sphere concert series of nine shows across three weekends.
The studio’s contribution included the programming and integration of a vast array of responsive content for Sphere’s media plane, the world’s highest resolution LED screen. From an iridescent spider’s web to a vibrant bubblegum universe and a surreal hotdog spaceship odyssey, every concept is displayed at a monumental scale that organically adapts to the band's live improvisation.
In collaboration with Sphere Studios and with Phish’s lighting designer Chris Kuroda, the shows include a virtual lighting rig that pays tribute to Phish's iconic physical light rig directly on Sphere’s immersive 160,000 sq ft media plane. Operated live directly from the lighting console, it unlocks larger-than-life effects that authentically capture the artistic energy of a classic Phish show.
The concerts demonstrate a major advancement in experiential design for live performances on megacanvases, establishing a new standard for large-scale, audiovisual artistry.
