Moment Factory Celebrates its Growth in Europe

October 10, 2024

On October 3, Moment Factory welcomed its European team, its partners and some of the industry’s biggest names to its Paris studio to celebrate its latest creations and unveil some new projects. Following a series of collaborations and creative encounters that have given rise to some iconic immersive and interactive experiences, the studio is continuing to pursue its mission of enriching the European cultural landscape.

One of its greatest successes, the immersive show entitled AURA Invalides, an experience initiated and produced by cultural operator Cultival in collaboration with the Musée de l'Armée, is celebrating its first anniversary. Since its launch, AURA Invalides has attracted 190,000 visitors to over 400 shows. With its innovative approach combining lighting effects, video mapping and orchestral music, the show elevates and showcases the architecture of the Dôme des Invalides, revealing both its majestic features and the detail in its construction.

2024 also marks the inauguration of Aquascope, the new indoor water park at Futuroscope, which commissioned Moment Factory to design its immersive and thematic Abysses de Lumière space. This project, which integrates multimedia into an aquatic environment, is a true technological achievement recognized by a Leading Edge Award presented by the World Waterpark Association.

The studio has also designed several immersive experiences in France, which have helped to boost the regional tourism economy and enhance the appeal of natural, cultural and leisure sites. These creations include Regalia in Reims, Soissons en Lumière in Soissons, Alta Lumina in Les Gets and Oceana Lumina in Rochefort. Visitors to the Pasino Grand in Aix-en-Provence can admire and interact with multimedia installations, while the lobby of the Grand Magic Hotel in Paris has been transformed into a truly immersive destination. The studio also provided set design, lighting and video content for Bigflo & Oli’s Les Autres c'est nous Tour, which ended last summer.

These numerous projects illustrate Moment Factory’s commitment to enriching its portfolio of immersive and interactive experiences in Europe. The studio is also announcing a series of diverse experience launches over the coming months. Its partnership with Real Madrid continues, with innovative experiences to be unveiled in the new Santiago Bernabéu stadium, and on October 25, the studio will inaugurate its first project in Italy with Light Cycles Milan. Moment Factory is also proud to be working with Pathé on the reopening of La Géode, scheduled for December. The studio is developing its presence in the UK with several impressive projects, including the launch of Light Cycles Birmingham in November 2024, as well as a partnership with Lane7, a leader in competitive socializing, to introduce Augmented Games in several of its leisure venues.
