Akadi Lumina, an Enchanted Night Walk This August at Le Pays de la Sagouine

When night falls in Bouctouche, Akadi Lumina will come to life as an enchanted 1.5 km night walk into the heart of the vibrant Acadian culture. Created by Moment Factory in collaboration with Le Pays de la Sagouine, this nighttime experience will be the 18th of the Lumina series and the very first in Atlantic Canada.
The immersive experience, inspired by the culture, personality, and stories of iconic people known for their tenacity and joie de vivre, will transport visitors into an enchanted universe and invite them to discover Acadie differently. More than a walk through the forest, Akadi Lumina will be a uniquely immersive and transcendent experience, regardless of the visitor’s heritage or knowledge of Acadian culture.
Developed in collaboration with local artists, musicians and storytellers from the community, the experience will use light, sound, video projection and an original soundtrack to bring the Acadian imaginary to life in a poetic way.
Akadi Lumina will open on August 3rd and tickets will go on sale Thursday, June 22nd at 10:00 am ADT – akadilumina.ca
