The live performances were framed by elaborate animations mapped onto the fairytale castle’s intricate façade. Working closely with Disney, we brought some of their most iconic animated characters into the show, creating touchstone moments as the castle’s surface metamorphosed between different chapters of Disney history in 3D. Audiences watched as the façade transformed to show Mickey Mouse and friends, the blossoming of Cinderella’s ball, vibrant stained glass inspired by Beauty and the Beast, the seven dwarves unearthing dazzling gems, and ice from Frozen encasing everything in glittering crystals. Working on a project of this scale with a partner like Disney proved that sometimes dreams really do come true.
