The school approached us to design one-night-only luminous installations to accentuate the building’s architecture and personality at its grand opening event. The project is part of a broader partnership, with scholarships and knowledge exchanges planned in the future.
A series of multimedia art pieces were staged to foster a festive vibe on the new campus. Outside, visitors were greeted by sky beams and vividly colourful architectural lighting in the façade. The entry atrium displayed layers of natural imagery set to an original soundscape, and an interior honour wall recognized donors and scholarship winners. A large generative painting featured textured streams of colour evoking brushstrokes, accented by dynamic points of light that followed visitors into the event.
ECUAD has a well-deserved reputation for producing top-notch talent, and their new campus is set to continue this legacy of cultivating creativity. We’re proud to help recognize and celebrate their ongoing contributions to Canadian and international arts and culture.
