Muse elevates the concert experience to new heights with a spectacular storm of interactive visuals, cinematography and music

Hailed by critics and fans alike as one of the most exciting live acts ever, the international acclaimed UK band Muse have teamed up with Moment Factory to create innovative visuals and interactive elements for their 2015-16 Drones World Tour. Launched in Mexico in November 2015, our close collaboration saw the development of custom 3D and responsive technologies that we fully developed in-house, from R&D to the final live tour execution.

Inspired by the album’s themes of dehumanizing warfare and indoctrination, visuals feature gyrating apocalyptic figures, epic slow motion sci-fi riots, performer tracking video, and a few high-tech surprises. This tour is one of Moment Factory’s most ambitious collaboration, featuring a system of 3D cameras and custom realtime effects pumping out responsive visuals to 12 powerful Barco projectors. Original particle, distortion, and mosaic effects also process I-MAG feeds in realtime. Adding to the dramatic atmosphere and playing up the surveillance theme, an extensive BlackTrax 3D-tracking system featuring 38 infrared cameras allows for visual effects, sound, and light cues to track band members as they move across the stage. We love working with forward-thinking artists and Muse is no exception – they are fearless in the creation of concert experiences that make the most of cutting-edge stage design and technologies., Stadiums Arenas, Interactivity Gamification, Visual Content Creation Production, Projection Mapping
