Ocean Park’s Aqua City Lagoon, was completely redesigned by Moment Factory team for this project. As night falls it transforms from a daytime water feature to a 360-degree venue with a semi-submerged stage and the Grand Aquarium façade as its backdrop. Photoreal projections show the iconic high rises of the Victoria Harbour skyline transform into Global Geopark’s towering cliffs. Art imitates aquatic life as a graphic neon nightscape emerges from the electric luminesce of deep-sea creatures. In another scene created with custom green screen footage, a traditional Cantonese opera performer rises from the mist and triggers a monsoon.
Synchronized to a choreography of fountain, fire, and laser effects and an original orchestral soundtrack, the finale culminates with an empowering sustainable vision for the future.
