Each year’s event is a celebration, including the reveal of new models, a sharing of the company’s vision for the coming year, and a show featuring the world’s most sought after performers: Jerry Seinfeld, Steve Martin, Oprah Winfrey, Michael Bublé, Bruno Mars, and more. The visual content serves as a thread of continuity, tying the show into a unified experience and using transition moments to build hype in the room. Our content team used optical illusion, 2D and 3D animation, video-mapping, and intelligent lighting to create morphing content that explodes out into the room, enveloping the audience in the Toyota spirit.
The success of this ongoing collaboration is due to the time, creativity, and passion we’ve been invited to bring to the event year after year. Working with Kaleidoscope, we are able to engage in a creative conversation from the beginning, influencing how visual content can build excitement by amplifying the scene on stage. Mr. Toyoda himself paid us a big compliment when he took up an image of a tree blooming with light. After having viewed the content, he based his yearly address on the tree, its roots and branches connecting the past, present, and future. Mr. Toyoda has traveled around the world with this image, sharing his story through its inspirational light.
