The journey begins by shuttle. Guests are seated in an abstract helicopter that offers glimpses of snowy terrain through its portholes while over the radio, North Shore Rescue Team Leader, Mike Danks, prepares them for the climb. When an unanticipated whiteout forces them to land, the shuttle door slides open and they disembark into gusts of wind and a forest shrouded in a heavy haze. After trudging through thick clouds of fog, the journey continues up a steep slope where video mapping plots out various inclinations.
At the top, an elevated walkway in the middle of a panoramic 270° screen places guests on a summit in the midst of the coastal mountains and their fast-changing weather conditions, from a violent snowstorm to a sublime sunset. A placid lake and LED campfire offer guests an awe-inspiring place to decamp and come down from the high of exploring the great outdoors before returning to the city.
