A dual-activation brand experience highlights Space Center Houston in the world’s largest soccer event while celebrating the Artemis II lunar mission.
Moment Factory collaborated with Space Center Houston to create a dual-activation brand experience in the world’s largest soccer event through an immersive show at the local fan festival and Augmented Games at Space Center Houston.
The immersive show is a five-minute dome attraction that draws parallels between the kickoff of the sporting event and NASA’s Artemis II mission to the Moon. This cinematic experience combines large-scale animated visuals, archival NASA footage, historic soccer moments, and dynamic sound design.
Complementing the immersive show activation, Augmented Games in the Main Plaza at Space Center Houston encourages visitor participation through interactive experiences themed around lunar exploration. Guests take part in two games that combine physical activity and digital gameplay. Using motion-tracking technology, players control large-scale visuals in real time.
A dynamic progress tracker calculates collective guest movement in relation to the distance needed to reach the Moon, turning gameplay into a shared objective.
These activations demonstrate how immersive media can engage audiences in high-traffic, culturally relevant environments, driving destination awareness while enhancing the museum guest journey through interactive play.
