AN ENCHANTED NIGHT WALK AT THE ARSENAL OF ROCHEFORT

An immersive and participatory experience that transports visitors on a poetic and fantastic journey across the ocean.

The Communauté d’agglomération de Rochefort Océan (CARO) has commissioned Moment Factory to develop a unique nighttime experience at the Arsenal of Rochefort to expand the tourist offer of this historic landmark on the banks of the Charente.

An outstanding testimony to France’s maritime history, this naval base is now home to Oceana Lumina, an enchanted night walk inspired by the site’s maritime glory days. Respectful of the historic site, this outdoor journey transports visitors into a mysterious world, which they discover along a 1.2 km pathway.

A variety of digital media – including light and scenographic installations, video projections and an original score – combine to create this unique, immersive and participatory multisensory adventure, allowing visitors to experience the emotions of the Arsenal of Rochefort’s most epic crossings.

Oceana Lumina is the 12th experience in the Lumina Night Walk series designed and created by Moment Factory. It is also the second Lumina night walk in France.
