REDISCOVERING THE BEAUTY OF CANADIAN WINTER

  • 2016 | Kingston

By reviving the joy of all things ‘winter’, Lumina Borealis gives Fort Henry a new story to tell.

What do we remember most about playing outside in winter? Snowball fights, the scent of a woodstove burning, or is it a walk through a snow-covered forest? These memories and more inspired the creation of Lumina Borealis, a winter night walk at historic Fort Henry in Kingston, Ontario. Created for the St. Lawrence Parks Commission (SLPC), it is the first Lumina night walk created for the winter season.
