Internationally recognized design firm Sardi Design called Moment Factory when Exelon Corporation sought to redesign the welcome area of their Baltimore flagship executive offices. We were charged with creating a signature media feature that would reflect the brand and vision of Exelon — a Fortune 100 company and America’s leading competitive energy provider.
We collaborated with Sardi to create DATUM, an engaging and informative multi-media feature consisting of two complementary elements. The first element, Artscape, is a giant media wall that transforms real-time energy data and weather patterns into a constantly-evolving visual landscape. The second component, a smaller Dashboard screen, summarizes what energy-related statistics the Artscape is receiving in real-time from Exelon’s database to generate its eye-catching content. Together, the Artscape and Dashboard create dynamic living visuals fueled by the company’s real-time fluctuations of energy data.
Just as Exelon works in every stage of the energy business, DATUM works to incorporate multiple levels of data available to activate energy-relevant information into an artistically captivating display.
