An explosion of lights and rich colours capture Bangkok’s unique culture in three ambient capsules and a nighttime spectacle.

The Plan B Media Company approached Moment Factory to create a multimedia experience on the massive wall of the CentralWorld shopping centre in Bangkok. This project presented an exciting challenge, not only in terms of its scale–covering a surface over 180 metres long–but also in the scope of their vision. The idea was to use this vast canvas to create a show that highlights how Thailand’s distinct culture has infused the modern, urban lifestyle of Bangkok.

To achieve a compelling public entertainment installation of this proportion, we created a five-minute evening show that blends live action with animation and geometric design. We also developed ambient content featuring playful neon animals, dynamic fruit sculptures, and luxurious materials, as well as enhancing the existing architecture through lighting.

Colors of Bangkok marks the first time that Moment Factory has combined video content of this scale with a suite of special effects, including sound. Collaborating closely with the client from creative concept to technical installation, we executed this vision within a tight timeframe to establish the wall as a signature media presence in Bangkok’s bustling urban landscape.
