Known for bringing people together in public, the Montreal-based studio Moment Factory will be exploring a new kind of gathering that features a selection of animated short films from the National Film Board (NFB) collection.

Inspired by childhood stories, VROOM! invites guests to be young at heart and travel through a world of tales. Guests are encouraged to get creative, by dressing up as their favourite childhood story character, and even decorating their vehicle.

As new owners of the Ciné-Parc Orford drive-in, we want to augment the visitor experience by using multimedia content in the context of a cultural family outing. We’re proud to collaborate with Moment Factory to present an immersive audiovisual show that encourages all-age participation,” states François Pradella, co-owner of the Ciné-Parc Orford.

At Moment Factory, we value the collective experience above all. Here, we wanted to create a cultural activity for local audiences with Canadian content that gives everyone a chance to take part in the experience,“ says Daniel Jean, Producer at Moment Factory

We are so very pleased to see the talent of these Canadian animation directors presented within such a magnificent curation. At the NFB, bringing the public together is at the heart of what we do and what a wonderful occasion to do that in a new way,” confirms Julie Roy, Director General of Creation and Innovation at the NFB.

Join this celebration of stories starting on June 26 until July 12. Two representations per night. Visit the website for tickets and full schedule: vroomorford.com
