The record breaking pop phenomenon and her team invited us to collaborate on the creative direction of the first ever television performance of her hit Drivers License, on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”.
Already a successful actress, the multitalented artist hits a new milestone with her debut single co-written with producer Dan Nigro. Drivers License is the fastest song to reach 100 million streams in Spotify history.
In this touching performance, the artist’s emotional presence is captured in all its beauty. To highlight Rodrigo’s voice and strength of the song, we designed an evolving laser environment with scanning technologies, which sweeps above the artist as she plays the piano and reveals the string ensemble that accompanies her. As the music builds, we created a subtle, yet emotional progression of the visual ambience.
