The opening of Alta Lumina at Les Gets ski resort

A collaboration between Les Gets ski resort and our Paris studio, Moment Factory’s first Lumina enchanted night walk in Europe, and the 12th of this international series, has officially opened in France.
While the final stages of production were challenged by the current public health context, this immersive, multi-sensory experience is now safely welcoming visitors into the natural environment of the Alps.
Located in the heart of the French Alps, at Les Gets ski resort, Alta Lumina is the first in this beloved night walk series designed to offer a year-round experience, no matter the season.
All year long, visitors are immersed in a multimedia-enhanced natural environment, where the story is told through the poetics of light, imagery, set design and interactivity.
This wondrous journey takes its inspiration from the richness of the region, from the mountains and forests to the Savoyard culture.
Participants are invited into a whimsical story, where they follow a travelling music-maker who takes off in his hot air balloon and travels through the mountains. The pathway is specially designed to give visitors a rich emotional experience, where music is seen and light can be heard.
As with all Lumina night walks currently in operation, Alta Lumina offers a safe and exciting outdoor experience for everyone and is adapted to respect all physical distancing and public health measures.
