Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi Opening Ceremony
TRANSFORMING ARCHITECTURE THROUGH MULTIMEDIA STORYTELLING
- 2025 | Abu Dhabi
Projection-mapping content enhances an immersive show and pathway.
Moment Factory collaborated with People and show director Francisco Negrin to co-create a nighttime multimedia show and pathway marking the grand opening of the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi.
Staged against the museum’s facade, the production combines projection-mapping, lighting design, drones, special effects, live performers, and a musical score.
Moment Factory provided projection-mapping content and supported the immersive experience design, transforming the site’s architecture into a canvas for visual storytelling.
Unfolding across twelve chapters, the 20-minute show takes audiences on a journey through time, from the Big Bang and the origins of life to evolution, extinction, and the emergence of Homo sapiens.
Alongside the show, guests explore a multimedia pathway that transforms the building’s distinctive architecture, showcasing both the natural world and the animals featured inside the museum. An event designed to affirm the museum’s place among the world’s most prestigious institutions, the project underscores Moment Factory’s ongoing role as a creative partner across the Middle East.
